| FOOD WASTE RECYLING ARRIVES IN CARDIFF, Wales, UK |
| Cardiff Council are investing in weekly food waste recyling for every home in the city. "People can now put food waste in their green kitchen caddy." |
Once the bags are collected, they are composted into soil and will be used in Cardiff's parks and gardens.
The Council said " By introducing this weekly collection to every home in Cardiff we are continuing our commiment to the enviroment. By recyling food waste people can do their bit to help. Together we can reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill, in turn reduce the amount of methane gas produce and released into the atmosphere. |
